“Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval.
Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly
explains the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15 NLT

First and forKaela 1emost I am a child of God. Without my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I would not be where I am today.

With experience since childhood in sports, I learned very early on, the values of setting goals, being a team player, and working hard. I grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada playing hockey with the boys on the pond and from there tried anything I could compete at. I let my passion lead me and made my way to state championship basketball games in high school in Arizona. My love for basketball, and my work ethic, took me to the University of Regina (Canada) where I played for the Cougars Women’s Basketball Team and won two conference titles and a National Championship in 2001. While at the UofR, I received my Bachelors of Kinesiology. Wasting no time after a back injury ended my playing career, I set my sights high and reached my next goal of starting a career with the National Basketball Association in 2003.

Working with elite and professional athletes, my drive for health and fitness continued to thrive. I competed in my first National Physique Committee (NPC) Figure Competition in Dallas, TX in 2008. That is also the same year I took my relationship with the Lord to the next level receiving numerous Theology certificates from The Potters House Church of Dallas under Bishop T.D. Jakes. In that same year, I also ventured with the ministry to South Africa. It was through these experiences my new dream was born. I found my new passion, my purpose, my desire: to knit together my passion of fitness with my love for the Lord.

In 2010 I graduated from Arizona Christian University as a Bible student and officially began my quest. Serving at Kingdom in the Valley Christian Church in Phoenix, AZ under Pastors Reginald and Kelley Steele, I shared my passion by teaching weekly Bible-based classes to women with a desire of losing weight and making healthy lifestyle choices. I was also a feature columnist in Legacy magazine and instructed workout DVDs for the ministry.

As I walk with the Lord daily, I am grateful for my health. I am grateful for this body He has given me. I am grateful that He chose me. But I also am aware that it is not all about me! This is about HIM! This is about the Lord. This is about His love and His desire. This is about not only showing the love of Christ to those I come in contact with but my desire is to coach, and to teach what the Word of the Lord says about your life. To teach you how to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle for YOU: spiritually, physically, and mentally.
